ORIGIN
30-year-old vineyards owned by the winery, trained as saplings in the Ortueri countryside.
PROCESSING
The grapes are harvested by hand after a careful selection of the bunches. This is followed by destemming and crushing of the grapes with subsequent vinification in steel barrels at a controlled temperature. The wine is then cold bottled and left to refine before being put on the market.
If properly stored, Helios can age for 5-10 years after harvest.
CHARACTERISTICS
Color: bright straw yellow with golden reflections.
Nose: intense with fruity notes of peach and tropical fruits, notes of yellow flowers and hints of aromatic herbs on the finish.
Taste: the tasting is very balanced, intense and persistent.
COMBINATIONS
Definitely excellent as an aperitif. Its balance makes it perfect to accompany seafood first courses, shellfish and fish-based second courses. The ideal serving temperature is between 8 and 10°C .
