Mugarò Nuragus of Cagliari 2020
Vineyards owned by the winery, on the hills around Mogoro, on limestone soils rich in sandy skeleton.
The harvest is manual with mashing of the grapes within a few hours of harvesting. Vinification in steel, with controlled fermentation temperature and use of selected yeasts. It always evolves in steel, refines on fine lees in batonnage for about 40 days. If stored in optimal conditions it is excellent even after two years.
Colour: straw yellow with greenish reflections
Perfume: notes of small white flowers and fruit such as green apple, citrus peel and hazelnuts.
Taste: In the mouth it is fresh and quite tasty, full-bodied, slightly soft, with a good aroma.
It pairs well with leafy vegetable dishes, such as spinach and chard. Perfect with delicate first and second courses: try it with sole parmigiana.
