GRAPE VARIETY 100% Vermentino
ALCOHOLIC CONTENT 13.5%
ORIGIN
Vineyards grown on hills of limestone origin in the Alghero district. The sea breeze gives the grapes the salinity and flavor typical of the area.
PROCESSING
The grapes are subjected to careful selection at the time of harvesting: tasting the grape is essential, as it offers indications of correct maturation. The fermentation, after an initial period in steel containers, involves a period in oak barrels for approximately 10 days during which the batonnage is carried out, i.e. the mixing of the lees into the wine, followed by refinement in steel and a subsequent rest in the bottle for approximately 4 months.
CHARACTERISTICS
Color: Straw yellow with golden reflections.
Perfume: Intense, floral notes and hints of fruit, orange and lemon peel, light spicy finish.
Taste: Savory, delicate sweetness at the entrance, with volume in the center of the mouth and long and persistent in the finish.
COMBINATIONS
Ideal with structured fish dishes, but can also give emotions when enjoyed as an aperitif.
