Vineyards in the countryside surrounding Alghero, from the limestone soils of Villassunta and Usini.
PROCESSING AND AGING
The grapes are harvested by hand in the first week of October, fermented in steel containers for about 18 days. It is then aged in Allier’s French oak barrels for 14 months and then in steel.
Color: Ruby red with violet reflections.
Bouquet: Spicy, with notes of black fruits and hints of Mediterranean scrub.
Taste: Balanced palate, full with silky and long tannins.
It goes well with medium-aged cheeses, risottos, boiled meats, roasted white or red meats.
