ORIGIN
Sapling vines rooted in sandy soil in Sinis, in the lower Tirso Valley.
PROCESSING AND AGING
Vinification according to tradition, in white, with soft pressing and alcoholic fermentation and controlled temperature. Maturation in oak and chestnut barrels for about 4 years, kept overflowing to allow the development of flor yeasts, a thin layer of yeasts that guarantees a very slow oxidation of the wine, giving very complex tertiary aromas to the bouquet of Vernaccia.
FEATURES
Color: intense golden yellow with red and amber reflections.
Bouquet: intense, broad and ethereal, with the characteristic note of the almond blossom.
Taste: Dry, dry, full, which extends to the pleasantly acidulous, warm and harmonious base.
FOOD PAIRINGS
Ideal as a dessert and meditation wine. It goes well with some Sardinian desserts and particularly well tied to the typical mullet bottarga. Served chilled, it is excellent as an aperitif.
