GRAPES 100% Vernaccia
GRADATION 15%
ORIGIN
Bush vines rooted in sandy soil in Sinis, in the lower Tirso Valley.
PROCESSING
Vinification according to tradition, in white, with soft pressing and alcoholic fermentation at controlled temperature. Maturation in oak and chestnut barrels for about 4 years, kept full to allow the development of flor yeasts, a thin layer of yeasts that guarantees a very slow oxidation of the wine, giving very complex tertiary aromas to the bouquet of Vernaccia.
CHARACTERISTICS
Color: intense golden yellow with red and amber reflections.
Aroma: intense, broad and ethereal, with the characteristic note of almond blossom.
Taste: Dry, crisp, full, which lingers on the pleasantly acidic, warm and harmonious aftertaste.
COMBINATIONS
Ideal as a dessert wine and meditation wine. It pairs well with some Sardinian desserts and pairs particularly well with the typical grey mullet bottarga. Served chilled, it is excellent as an aperitif.
